These pictures are beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful photographs – thank you for sharing them with us! I have to confess that as an amateur photographer (really, really amateur), I keep feeling this hugely pressing need to make sure that the content of my pics is always something ‘epic.’ Thank you for showing me how to produce absolutely compelling pieces with nothing more than an interesting subject and an eye. Very, very well done. And congrats on the FP! 🙂

This is so scenic and clear. I almost felt as if I was on the trip to Maleny myself. Thanks for sharing your great photos.

the cows are so cute
unfortunately the are about to be eaten by human 😦
October 1, 2011 at 9:16 AM
didta7 Sadly, people also do terrible things to them before that; things like de-horning and, it seems, tail docking – the latter, it seems, for sanitary reasons when milking – something not thought to be necessary for hundreds of year!
October 4, 2011 at 9:31 AM

October 2, 2011 at 4:27 PM
Nice pictures! I just travelled up to Perth from Scott River – working on a dairy farm for 2 months or so. Cows seem to be following me everywhere now. Check out my blog for some pictures of calves! http://worldlymaret.wordpress.com/ (they are nowhere near as good as yours though!)

I live in France now but my Parents live out past Roma central QLD. And I went to university in Brisbane. It’s so nice to see you get “Freshly Pressed”. Seeing these cows just doing their thing really drives home the life that I miss. I am content with my new life, the one I have replaced it with, a life outside “my bubble” as my Aunt calls it. However seeing this just makes my day!
Thanks so much for some great local grown pics!
