A-Z Dating cont.

On this very wet day today, I’ve been thinking about how much I have been loving all the outdoor activities we have been doing lately to soak up this yummy spring weather. The other week, Josh and I went strawberry picking at a local farm for our “E” date  – EATING – and we ate many strawberries… (Remember when I told you about how we are doing A-Z Dates)  We are slow at getting into this, but it’s such a fun thing to do.

The Good Life Spring Photo Shoot

I got to take some more photos for the latest edition of the Good Life Magazine. Here are some of my favourites from the lovely afternoon we spent at Golden Beach…

wild horses +

On the weekend we went out into the country to visit Josh’s cousin’s farm, which I took way too many photos of (I’ll show pictures of their amazing farm soon). We had such a peaceful and refreshing day and to top it off, on our drive home we stopped and took photos of these beauties. Aren’t horses such beautiful animals, I feel like I’m in a dream when I’m around them. I hope my allergies will one day subside and I will be able roam free with the horses.

Living by the Sea

Firstly I would like to apologise for my lack of posts! I have been working on a range of projects and have put my blog on the back-burner. I realised I have missed the blogging world and will make an effort to be more consistent with my inspirations and happenings!! So, as I was saying…

I love living by the sea, I told myself I would never take it for granted, and yet I find myself doing just that. Life takes over, busy lives start taking priority over taking time out for ourselves. The other day I was scouting locations for a shoot, and it blew me away. I am so blessed to live where I do, there are countless beautiful places everywhere around here. Taking the time out to appreciate the beauty that surrounds me and even just taking time out for myself has actually brought fresh inspiration. So, I thought I would share this with you all, I hope you can take some time out this weekend, explore some new (or old) places, get some fresh inspiration and appreciate the beauty which is around you.

The Good Life Mag Photo Shoot +

For The Good Life Magazine, I did a photo shoot which we used throughout the magazine and on the front cover. Here are some of my favourite shots from the day… (How cute are these kids!!!)

A-Z Dating +

So this isn’t related to design or photography, but I thought I’d share this A-Z Dating Josh and I have been doing. We actually got the idea from a friend’s parents who are are doing this, and we thought it was a great idea, and now the word is going around and quite a few of our friends are doing it.

Pretty much what it is … We are taking it in turns to organise a ‘date’ and it should start with the letter of the alphabet we are up to. It helps us to think a little more creatively and also makes us take time out of our busy lives to spend quality time together.  You should all do it too! Let me know how it goes, or if you have any cool ideas for our remaining letters!

Here’s some instagram photos (not the best quality) of our dates so far…

1. Affogato

2. BBQ Beach Breaky

3. Our day in the City

4. Delectable Dinner

Lynsey and Michael got married at the beautiful Annabella Chapel a couple of weeks ago. The Chapel has the most beautiful property, complete with a few cows! The week before the wedding there had been such rainy weather and we were blessed on the day with amazing blue skies! Here’s a few more photos from the day…
